Walking in two lines  we're off to tech

We had a feeling the lines  would be a wreck,

Walking and walking all the way,

“Keep up the great work” Mr Wiseman says

As we walk we chatter

Like nothing else matters,

Wood work was the group I was in for today,

Hoping and daydreaming Mr Pineda would say “Hooray”.

Walking in a fast pace

An old lady walked past holding her suitcase,

The teachers say we were there mates

Therefore the lines were straight.

We were back to school

when the year 7’s act like fools,

“In your class lines” Mrs Tele’a Says

My birthdays in May,

I hear from meters away.

Mr Burt's Anzac Technology in The War Part 1

Last week in the afternoon block the year 7 & 8's were told that a  special visitor was coming to our school and talking to us. That special visitor was Mr Burt our school  principal, Mr Burt was talking to us about technology in the war. Do you think that technology is good or bad? Mr Burt and Mrs Flavell's grand-fathers were in the war. Did you know that Mr Burt's grand-father was the first person to have a bike!! 

SO then Mr Burt was saying that in the war they were getting ready for the war. When they were getting ready for war New Zealand and Australia were getting their weapons they had a battleship called the Dreadnought they put a photo in the newspaper and German saw it so German made a bigger battle ship and it was bigger and better.

Home Teahnology Appliances

New Zealand at War

For the past week I was trying get my New Zealand at war done and now I have. This will tell you what they did in the war and what they had to do in the training. ANZAC Mascots

This Week we have been learning about the Anzac Mascots. My mascot is a husky as you can see the drawing I did is at the top. I choose this mascot because I think that a husky is good at attacking and running . I hope you have enjoyed bye!!  

Music

Music had changed from 1981 to 2015 now-a-days we listen to re-mix,dub step,and other cool music. In the Anzac war the soldiers sang songs to get them ready for war and to remind them about there family's.
When I was born there were diffident music that I didn't know. I hope you have enjoy and wait for more music story to come.

Trying to make A Book

   

This year I want to make a book called Life as a kid The first chapter  is going to be coming out really soon i'm just still writing it. It's about a Me though from when I was just one years old. That's all i'm going to be giving out. Hope you have a very good new years and god bless you all.

Christmas Break And Highlights Of The Year

Hi everyone today was the last day of school and we did the best things. We played games,art and put the furniture in the new class rooms for the year 5's & 6's. I can't wait for Christmas me and my brothers and sisters always sleeps in one of the rooms all together it's so fun. This year is a very special year to me because it's going to be my baby brothers first Christmas.  Next year I'm going to be a year 7 and i can't wait.

My highlights this year was going to Kawua Island and to be an ambassador It was fun being a year 6 and I don't want to leave. The teachers were so kind and nice that they always make us laugh Hope that everyone has a great holiday. And have a very berry merry Christmas.

Kawau Island Recount

Have you been to Kawau island? Well the years sixes and I went there for camp we went with our teachers too. Kawau island was fun for us to work us a team and learn about nature. I was on of the leaders.

On kawau island there is a mountain called killer hill. We had it climb  for fitness everyday when we wake up. then we had to have breakfast, the teachers would tell us to stand up , and sing . Then we could leave to get breakfast after that the teachers will  send us to our activity to get change before we leave.

The teams were called: Kawau,Mansion,Benzon,and Kats. I was the team leader for Mansion. our first activity was ad-selling I was so terrified to climb up the big tall tower and come back down with ropes around me. Then after that we went Kayaking we went with one of our teacher  and with another teacher named  Erin she took us to see some sting-rays. It was fun to see some for the first time.

At the end of the day we got to have free time we got to swim and jump off the wharf. After we had to have a shower after the swim we had more free time to wait for dinner. I was playing softball with some of my friends. Then we went to have some  dinner we had burgers and  potato chips.  I Love Kawau island

Holiday Highlight

 In the holidays on a beautiful day. Everyone in my family  went to the  beach on Sunday, one day before school.  We went to the beach again and we saw my cousins. Once I saw my cousins I saw that they had a softball bat and a ball. So we started to play softball it was so much fun so once we got HOTTER we went in the water it was nice and cold. At first the water was getting colder  in the water once it got colder we found  a drop that was  was a really deep once you go in you can't touch the ground. When we got deeper and deeper it was really hard to swim at time and we found a bottle of yuck stuff in it.  I was coming out my and my brother Mokani come in the water and said to me "Come on my shoulders" so I went on his shoulders. He  dived in the water and I went on his Shoulders  he got up and flip me over his back and flipped me in the water. When he flipped me I got really hungry so I went up and got some food to eat I had some fish n chips. Sometimes that I have to take my baby sister to the playground so I took her to the playground and she was crazy about going to the playground. After a few mins she went to sleep so I took her to me mum to sleep with her.


While she was sleeping I went to go on the playground because some of my friends from church come and we played rugby. I went back in the water and my cousins where still there and the tie was coming in so started to swim for a really long time. But My mum and dad left to go get something so I went with them my mum said to "get some ice-cream for you and the family" I got everyone a jelly tip and everyone loved it. When we come back I went for a little sleep in the van when I wake up I was in the van with my baby sister playing around the van. I got out and took my sister back to the playground with my older brother Teiro when my baby sister was finish my older brother took us to McDonald's.
